春聯古稱春貼,屬於楹聯的一種,是一年一度新春佳節時書寫張貼的一種時令對聯。楹聯已有一千多年歷史,是中華民族特有的一種源遠流長的文學形式。它最初起源於桃符,桃符是中國古代掛在門框上的,畫著或刻有避邪圖形或字跡的兩塊桃木板。春聯隨著各國文化交流的發展,對聯逐漸傳入越南、朝鮮、日本、新加坡等國,這些國家至今還保留著貼對聯的風俗。
